Team #FinishTime is on the road a lot and we stay at a lot of wonderful hotels around Southern Africa, but few of them have as much character as Duke & Duchess Boutique Hotel in Pretoria’s Waterkloof Park. This intimate boutique hotel combines classic French-English styling with antiques and art, creating a distinctly elegant feel throughout the property.
The hotel offers individually styled suites, with rooms featuring air conditioning, TVs, private bathrooms and patios, as well as touches of luxury. Some suites also have seating areas, microwaves and other extras, while garden views add to the peaceful feel. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. While our short stay didn’t allow us the time to enjoy the outdoor offerings, braai facilities and an outdoor swimming pool add to the property’s appeal.
Our team had the opportunity to sample the breakfast offered by Duke & Duchess Hotel, and declared it to be mouthwatering. The free parking available on site was an added bonus for us, as was the free WiFi on offer.
With its peaceful setting, distinctive decor and comfortable suites, Duke & Duchess Boutique Hotel offered something a little different for Team #FinishTime’s stay in Pretoria. We’ll definitely be back when we can.
