Stellenbosch is renowned for many things, but its beauty must surely top the list! On a recent trip to this stunning part of the Western Cape, Team #FinishTime had the privilege of staying at Rozenburg Guesthouse. If you’re heading to Stellies for a holiday rather than work, you’ll find that this guesthouse is perfectly positioned. It’s just a short stroll from Stellenbosch’s historic Cape Dutch centre, and it offers proximity to top restaurants, wine estates and outdoor attractions.
Rozenburg Guesthouse’s rooms are air-conditioned and beautifully appointed. Our room was equipped with a work desk, which is always a bonus for us, because there’s always admin work to be done before and after the race. There was also a tea and coffee station and free Wi-Fi access, both of which contributed to our comfortable and productive stay.

The guesthouse grounds are a real highlight. There’s an established garden and a small swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers, making it a perfect place to relax after a day of work or race logistics. We greatly appreciated the light continental breakfast that was served every morning.
The owners are a family deeply connected to Stellenbosch, and they have curated Rozenburg to feel authentic, elegant and deeply rooted in local heritage. The friendly service and warm welcome, coupled with the comfortable rooms and stunning surroundings, make this a guesthouse that we would love to return to.
