Along with its eclectic architecture and German colonial charm, one of Swakopmund’s best-loved features is its beaches. The fact that it’s just 200m from the beach is one of the many factors that make Guesthouse Indongo a great place to stay. It’s also a short stroll from the centre of Swakopmund with its array of shops, restaurants and attractions.
Each room is well-appointed and boasts free WiFI and satellite TV, making the guesthouse a great base for a work or leisure trip. Given that they often have prerace preparation to do or queries to answer after a race, Team #FinishTime is always appreciate of a designated workspace in their rooms, and Guesthouse Indongo did not disappoint.
We enjoyed breakfast in the well-equipped dining room and found the food to be delectable and the service impeccable. A fully-equipped coffee station in each room enabled us to start our day comfortably.
Team #FinishTime visits the Swakopmund region several times a year to time races in the iconic desert, and we wouldn’t hesitate to visit Guesthouse Indongo again.
