Southey House

Since Team #FinishTime’s base is in Kloof, it’s not every day that we look for accommodation in this area. However, when we’re bringing team members from around the country “home” for an event or a company conference, it’s time to look for accommodation close to home.

Southey House in Kloof proved to be a wonderful temporary home for team members coming in from various parts of the country. They got to enjoy breathtaking views over Durban and the Indian Ocean and make the most of relaxing on the wraparound veranda, which is a common feature of many older colonial  KwaZulu-Natal homes. Another popular feature – especially in the summer months — is the stunning swimming pool.

Each of the five en-suite bedrooms boast luxury linen as well as tea and coffee-making facilities and televisions. All rooms are also equipped with air conditioning and WiFi to keep everyone comfortable and connected. A gourmet breakfast is served every day, either on the veranda or in the dining room. For added convenience, lunches and dinners are available on request.

We don’t often have an opportunity to get team members from various parts of the country together and the experience was made even more memorable by the outstanding hospitality offered at Southey House.
