If Team #FinishTime were to be asked to paint a picture of paradise, they may very well paint a picture of Shore’s Edge Guesthouse in Hermanus. However, since we are race timers and definitely not painters, our words will have to suffice. As the name implies, Shore’s Edge is located right on the Hermanus seafront, offering an outdoor pool as well as a wrap-around balcony from which to enjoy the majestic 180-degree sea views.
The rooms on offer include superior and standard rooms, many of which boast either a garden view or a pool view. Each room is elegantly furnished and offers a flat-screen TV with satellite channels as well as tea and coffee-making facilities. There is a downstairs sitting room which opens out directly onto the enclosed pool and patio area, which – if you’re not in Hermanus for work purposes – would be the perfect spot to soak up some sun and sea air.
It’s also worth mentioning would be worth noting that the Hermanus Wine Route is a mere five-minute drive away. In addition, you’ll find an assortment of restaurants, walking trails, mountain bike tracks and amazing shops within a quick drive of Shore’s Edge.
