Whether you’re heading to Cape Town for a race, a holiday or work, Roodenburg House in leafy Rondebosch will prove to be a truly warm and welcoming base. The historic Victorian-style guesthouse is beautifully placed with sweeping views of Table Mountain and peaceful gardens. The result is a sense of calm, privacy and tranquillity – all within a short drive of the city centre.
There are five en-suite rooms, each thoughtfully decorated and fitted with modern comforts. Each room has air-conditioning and all the amenities that you would expect to find. If you choose the downstairs luxury suite, you’ll also have your own private patio and garden, which makes for a quiet, relaxing retreat.

We loved the opportunity to start each morning with a scrumptious breakfast in the charming dining room overlooking the garden. We unfortunately didn’t have much down-time during our stay, but we would have loved to take advantage of the outdoor pool, bar and braai facilities if we’d had a little more time.
Other practical perks included free high-speed WiFi and secure off-street parking. The team was welcoming and attentive to our needs and their efforts create a home-away-from-home ambience that’s ideal either for work travel or a holiday.
