One of our timing teams had the privilege of spending a night at the Premier Hotel Himeville Arms, located in the southern Drakensberg, while on their way to time sani2c. The hotel is situated in the heart of Himeville, and is characterized by “Olde English” charm and antique furniture that gives the place a feeling of splendor and luxury.
While Team FinishTime was there on a tight schedule, the Premier Hotel Himeville Arms would have been a great place from which to explore the numerous hiking trails and other activities that the southern Drakensberg has to offer. There’s also a historic pub in the hotel at which to enjoy an evening with friends or family members. Breathtaking views of the Drakensberg can be enjoyed from the hotel’s restaurant and in the summer months, guests can cool off in the swimming pool.
In terms of accommodation, standard rooms, superior rooms and suites are on offer, each with a unique blend of antique furnishings and all the modern amenities that one would want to find in a hotel room.
