When travelling to races along the KwaZulu-Natal coastline, finding accommodation that combines convenience, comfort and value is always a priority. Team #FinishTime found that Hampshire Hotel in Ballito ticked all the right boxes, making it an excellent base for both business and leisure travellers.
Conveniently located in Ballito’s commercial district, the hotel offers easy access to major routes as well as local shops, restaurants and beaches. This central location makes it particularly well suited to visitors attending an event in the region, such as a race or the Ballito Pro.
The hotel offers a range of modern, air-conditioned rooms equipped with free WiFi, smart TVs and tea and coffee-making facilities. Our room also had a comfortable workspace, which is always valuable to us if we have some pre- or post-race admin work to take care of.
Facilities at the hotel include an on-site restaurant where we had a delicious a la carte breakfast, a swimming pool, a fitness centre and a 24-hour front desk.
Overall, we found Hampshire Hotel Ballito to be a comfortable place to stay, and we would happily return next time our work takes us to KZN’s North Coast.
