On a recent trip to Gqeberha, Team #FinishTime had the luxury of staying at Garden Court Kings Beach, a solid, welcoming beachfront hotel. Located right on Kings Beach, we couldn’t have been closer to the race day action, and the sweeping views of Algoa Bay kept our Instagram feed looking great.
The hotel has 280 well-appointed en-suite rooms, that come with air conditioning, unlimited free WiFi, tea/coffee making facilities and DSTV – everything you need to feel comfortable when away from home. Our room also boasted a spectacular ocean view that gave the space a calming and open feel.
If you’re looking for a little more space or luxury, the hotel’s six suites will be ideal for you. Boasting sea-view showers, a separate lounge and a work desk (which is always a bonus for timing teams on the move), these suites provide both rest and a space to regroup.
One of the other aspects we love about this hotel is that it supports both relaxation and productivity. There’s a fitness centre for keeping up training, free self-service business workstations and three conference centres.
The on-site Mike’s Kitchen took care of our dining needs and the secure parking, professional ambience and comfortable rooms took care of the rest.
