In the Nelspruit area, it is our opinion that you would be hard-pressed to find a spot more peaceful and tranquil than Casterbridge Hollow Boutique Hotel. This peace and quiet is complemented by sophisticated décor with a distinctly “African chic” flavour. The staff was extremely warm and welcoming, and our team immediately felt at home. Overall, we were not at all surprised to learn that the hotel has consistently been voted one of South Africa’s top 25 hotels.
Being situated in White River, this spot is in the perfect location if you are going to the area to explore the Kruger National Park. It is located just 31km from the park’s Numbi Gate, and our team found themselves wishing they had an extra day or two to explore the park and some of the other amazing attractions that can be found in close proximity to this stunning hotel.
Another factor which greatly impressed our team is the hotel’s commitment to environmental concerns. It is Mpumalanga’s first “green hotel”, and every effort is made by the staff to minimise the establishment’s carbon footprint.
The accommodation was well appointed and luxurious, and our team found their stay both comfortable and extremely relaxing. Team #FinishTime will definitely be back.
