Over the weekend, FinishTime recorded splits and final times of almost 6000 athletes, from elite to age groupers. And this was followed worldwide.
Jan Frodeno, reclaimed the title he last won in 2015 and Switzerland’s Daniela Ryf showed why she is the favourite to win her fourth consecutive IRONMAN World Championship title in Kona, Hawaii on 13 October after demolishing one of the strongest fields yet assembled for #IM703WC.
FinishTime used 23 timing points to record 105 800 passing chip reads which equates to a field of more than 50 000 runners in a marathon.
